Good Girl Moon Shine Concentrate- THM Sipper

During the week,  I love for the morning to require the least amount of steps as possible. I want to stay connected to my family and not the kitchen.

So I created a concentrate that only has 3 steps when it's time to use it:
1. Quart jar with ice
2. 1/2 cup concentrate
3. Top with water, stir and enjoy!!!

I got your back mama! Now as my tiny humans mom me, I can be ever present!

Here is how I make the concentrate:

Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
12 tea bags ( I used 6 peach flavor and 6 green tea bag)
6 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar ( I use raw unfiltered organic with the mother)
6 TBSP Ginger juice OR (3 ice cubes of frozen ginger juice)  Here is how I make ginger juice
4 TBSP of super sweet OR 12 donks of pure stevia

How to:
1. Bring to boil 2 cups of water and steep the 12 tea bags in the water for 5 minutes
2. Remove the tea bags using a spoon as the water is HOT
3. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir
4. Store in the fridge and use 1/2 cup of the concentrate when your ready to make one.

Here is a video to watch how I made it with my sweet daughter.

Bloat Be Gone Smoothie - THM FP

Bloat be gone smoothie reminds me of lemon/lime sherbet ice cream with the tweaks I use. Cool, refreshing, and this one is jam packed of nutrients.  You can watch the full video on how I make it here.

It has ginger in it, which I already have a stash of frozen ginger juice in the freezer. Giving myself past self a high five for. Here is the video on how to make ginger juice in massive bulk to have it  on hand already frozen.

This recipe is in the THT page 488-489

Here are my tweaks to the recipe:
  • I add everything to the blender, and blend it all in one.
  • I add 4 frozen ginger juice ice cubes so I don't have to strain it, I keep these in my freezer at all times
  • dump in water and almond milk
  • I don't peel the apple or cucumber, but I do slice them, my blender is a boss so big chunks will do
  • Add all the rest of the ingredients and do a full serving of Integral Collagen
  • skip the gelatin, the protein is from the collagen
I make a biggie size smoothie and will often double the recipe. My daughter always wants some and I put some in ice cube trays. Make the smoothie one time and have two smoothies, hello genius momma! One for now and one for later. I will re-blend the frozen cubes for a fresh smoothie the next day. This is all about giving yourself a high five!

Sprouted Blueberry Breakfast Bars: THM E

Sprouted Blueberry Breakfast Bars: THM E
Sprouted Blueberry Breakfast Bars: THM E

The beautiful soaked blueberry muffins by Jessica Myers are pure delight. My new found love for sprouted flour has me tweeking recipes to save even more time. Then I was out of the muffin liners so I dumped it all in a cake pan!

Magic happened, I was now able to dump everything into one bowl, stir it up, pour in a cake pan and have the most delicious easy peasy breakfast bars! Without further ado... oh wait, I almost forgot. I double this recipe when I make it because it's on my absolute favorite recipes list! Which means I make double as these bars are perfect for freezing! Also, I eat two bars and enjoy collagen in my drink or have a speedy chocolate milk with it! Grab and go at it's finest! Okay, without further ado, here is a video on how to make them and the written recipe is at the bottom. I've got your back girl!

Sprouted Blueberry Breakfast Bars (THM-E)

Singing Canary Concentrate - THM Sipper

I am by heart a drive thru sue. I just love healthy food to be quick and easy #momlife. The more I go on the journey, the more I have capacity for choosing more nourishing options. #wannabepurest That's the beauty of the journey. We can evolve and grow over our entire lifetime. I get to be a TRIM HEALTH MAMA TODAY, in process towards my queen weight.

If I can make meals, drinks, and snack be easy peasy I'm all in! So the singing canary was a delight to have in concentrate form! Get out all the ingredients one time and it last me for a week.

INGREDIENTS:
2.5 cups of lemon juice
2 tablespoons of tumeric
2 tablespoons MCT
2 tablespoons of collagen
1 tsp salt
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 tsp stevia
1/4 cup baobab powder
3.5 tsp asorbic acid powder ( vitamin C)

INSTRUCTIONS:
Dump all the ingredients in a Vitmix and blend together. Store in a mason jar with a lid. When making the drink I grab a quart mason jar, fill with ice, dump in 1/2 cup of the concentrate and top the rest of the jar with water. Sometimes, when I'm savoring the concentrate I will only use 1/4 cup of concentrate to stretch out the recipe. Each time I use the concentrate, I shake the jar!

Waffles THM E (non dairy)

My kids say this is the best WAFFLE RECIPE EVER!!!

I made waffles with butter within the fat limit of THM "E" meal... and then decided that I desired to have a recipe I could put the butter on top, or simply pass on the dairy. So here is the best waffle recipe ever without butter or dairy. I make these with Koach Kanada's peanut butter on top ( I make her recipe without butter or the heavy creamy and it taste amazing!!!) So no accidental cross overs happening here. Yes you can do a praise dance! I sure did! If you want the buttery taste add in some butter extract. I don't miss it.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups of sprouted flour (I buy mine from Lindley Mills or you can get some from Amazon)
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup gentle sweet
- 1/2 cup of egg whites
- 3 cups of almond milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and gentle sweet and stir, add in the egg, milk, and vanilla.
  2. Allow the batter to rest while you preheat your waffle iron.
  3. Lightly spray your waffle iron, and add 2/3 cup of mixture.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes.
This made 8 waffles for my belgian waffle maker.  I enjoy this recipe with slim belly jelly from the THM cookbook on page 478. I will enjoy a chocolate milk to the meal to round out the protien. Just unsweetened almond milk, and on plan whey chocolate protien powder. My kids love this with maple syrup and added butter on top for a cross over.

Have you ever made sprouted waffles before? I am excited to hear how your kiddos enjoy the recipe.
