Good Girl Moon Shine Concentrate- THM Sipper

During the week,  I love for the morning to require the least amount of steps as possible. I want to stay connected to my family and not the kitchen. 

So I created a concentrate that only has 3 steps when it's time to use it: 
1. Quart jar with ice
2. 1/2 cup concentrate
3. Top with water, stir and enjoy!!! 

I got your back mama! Now as my tiny humans mom me, I can be ever present!


Here is how I make the concentrate: 

Ingredients: 
2 cups boiling water
12 tea bags ( I used 6 peach flavor and 6 green tea bag)
6 TBSP Apple Cider Vinegar ( I use raw unfiltered organic with the mother)
6 TBSP Ginger juice OR (3 ice cubes of frozen ginger juice)  Here is how I make ginger juice
4 TBSP of super sweet OR 12 donks of pure stevia

How to: 
1. Bring to boil 2 cups of water and steep the 12 tea bags in the water for 5 minutes
2. Remove the tea bags using a spoon as the water is HOT
3. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir
4. Store in the fridge and use 1/2 cup of the concentrate when your ready to make one.

It's my mission to find recipes my family loves and is nourishing to their body.  Can I get an AMEN?  So here is the best waffle recipe ever, in their opinion. It's super simple to make and freezes great! 

Ingredients: 
- 3 cups of sprouted flour (I buy mine from Lindley Mills or you can get some from Amazon)
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup gentle sweet 
- 1/2 cup of egg whites
- 3 cups of almond milk
- 2 TBSP of butter
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions: 
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and gentle sweet and stir, add in the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. 
  2. Allow the batter to rest while you preheat your waffle iron.
  3. Lightly spray your waffle iron, and add 2/3 cup of mixture.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes. 
This made 8 waffles for my belgian waffle maker which is less than 1 tsp of butter per waffle. I enjoy this recipe with slim belly jelly from the THM cookbook on page 478. I will enjoy a chocolate milk to the meal to round out the protien. Just unsweetened almond milk, and on plan whey chocolate protien powder. My kids love this with maple syrup and added butter on top for a cross over.

The Hot Healing Shrinker- THM - FP

Hey there beautiful! It's getting cold outside so this time of year is a favorite for the shrinker! Have you have tried it hot? Have you tried the healing version? It's my fave! No time to waste, let's get you all the tips and tricks to make this drive thru sue, speed queen style! 

Here is a video to show you how I make it Hot and in  4 easy steps, cause as mamas we have things to do and places to be! I mean it's already time for 2nd breakfast if you are homeschooling. 

I steep 16 oz or so of water with 2 bags of oolong tea. Dump in a heaping table spoon of the bulk mixture. Don't worry I'll teach ya how to make that here! Then add in 1 tsp of vanilla and 1 tsp of MCT oil. Blend with a frother and top the rest of the quart jar with room temperature water. ( I use berkey filtered water)! You basically have a superpower healing drink in your hands! Nothing can stop ya now mama!

Is food the Enemy? Plus my go to smoothie!

Food is not the enemy. It’s actually our protector!


When we have high cholesterol it can clog up our arteries and lead to heart disease.


Okra has mucilage. Mucilage binds cholesterol during digestion. It is excreted through the colon.

So it’s not absorbed into the bloodstream. It’s been tested in studies and the results have been shown to have higher levels of cholesterol in the stool with lower blood cholesterol levels. Pretty cool huh! 


I enjoy okra in smoothies, so it’s hidden from my taste buds and my children’s taste buds. My favorite is in a chocolate smoothie, of course it’s THM friendly. 



Here is the recipe: 

Ingredients:
           
Instructions:
1.  Combine okra and almond milk in blender, blend the snot out of it. Friends don't let friends drink chunky okra smoothies, because that is gross! 
2. Once fully liquid add the rest of the ingredients and blend. If it's too thick for you liking add more almond milk. It it's too thin add more ice. 

*** This is a THM Fuel Pull! I enjoy this with pepperidge farm sprouted bread toasted, light laughing cow cheese on top and sprinkled with a mixtures of gentle sweet and cinnamon. The perfect quick and easy on the go breakfast. With the toast you now have a THM E meal! YAY! Your thyroid is happy!

Black Cherry GGMS: THM

Are you tired of just drinking water? Here is a sipper to enjoy throughout the day!  


INGREDIENTS:

1 Black Cherry tea bag
2 cups water
2 cups of ice
1 TBS  Apple Cider Vinegar
Pyure sweetener to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Put 1 tea bag in a 32 oz cup and pour in 1 cup hot water in the jar. (Want it to steep water bob the tea bag up and down for 2-3 minutes. )
  2. Remove tea bag and add 1 cup of cold water 
  3. Add 1 TBS apple cider vinegar and add Pyure to taste.
  4. Stir, and fill the cup the rest of the way with ice


Tip:

***If you want it to be fizzy add carbonated water instead regular water *** 


This is a THM Fuel Pull ( FP). Enjoy this any time throughout the day! I work to increase the apple cider vinegar to 3 TBS as my body allows. 

*** Want it to be drive thru sue use TRUE LEMON BLACK CHERRY PACKET instead of tea bag. be CONSCIOUS of your carb count as this does have some carbs in it ***
